However, what really stood out were the donuts. The texture, flavor, and consistency were unbelievable — we regretted not buying more to take along on our journey. We were in a bit of a rush, opting for takeout, but we hope to have more time on our next trip to sit down and enjoy the food at the restaurant. The owner was very friendly and the kind of person you could easily engage in a good conversation with. If you’re near Texarkana, TX, this place should definitely be on your list of must-visit spots!
This is truly the best spot for lunch or breakfast! The fried rice is unmatched in the area, and you can choose from chicken, shrimp, pork, or even a combination of all three! Their homemade butter croissants are baked fresh every morning. The couple who run the place are exceptionally kind and friendly. The husband is an extremely talented pastry chef and baker. Be sure to call ahead to reserve your order, as they tend to sell out by noon!
