We have lived in Orlando 5 years and never managed to make it a priority to visit. What a mistake, Maxine’s was amazing! We stopped by around 2:00 on a Sunday and sat at the bar with Mr. Maxine and Mark. Both were incredibly friendly and helpful andother staff members stopped by to say hello as well. We ordered the sangria (delicious) and then followed up with the tangerinemimosas (also delicious). For breakfast I got the brisket and my partner got the chicken bowl all the way. What a lovely spot! Food was 5/5! Crab cake Benedict was perfect/ the crab cake was so fresh tasting, the sauce was delicious and the potatoes that came with the meal were great. My friend ordered the chicken and waffles and said the sauce on that was really really tasty ! The staff is 5/5 as well! It 's only street parking so as I was trying to park my big ol ' mom vehicle the owner saw me struggling and helped me out! We began our meal with some sangria, which was absolutely delightful, followed by tangerine mimosas that were equally impressive. For breakfast, I chose the brisket while my partner ordered the chicken bowl, generously topped with an array of ingredients. Both dishes were scrumptious, and we even had some leftovers to take home. I can’t believe I waited so long to visit this place. We'll definitely be returning soon!
On a side note, the Halloween decorations were amazing, and everything was available for purchase, with all proceeds going to charity! P.S. I normally skip biscuits because they’re often too dry, but these were wonderfully moist and tasty—I ended up taking one home!

Came here on 5/13/23 for Mother's day/ Grandmother's 86th birthday with my parents and fiance. My grandmother had a blast and martinis! Maxine came by to every table and was awesome!! Food was awesome!! Service excellent!! I had the lobster ravioli (with benadryl as I have a dairy allergy) it was godly. My grandma had the ravioli too and enjoyed it!! My dad had cioppino and enjoyed it. My mom had trout. My fiance had filet mignon with peppercorn sauce and couscous. We had key lime for dessert ? and they gave us flutes of champagne and a spritz with it. All in all very delicious and delightful will be back and want to try brunch!
I've dined at this restaurant several times before, but it had been a while since my last visit. This time, I ordered the special lobster Benedict, while my husband opted for the chicken and waffles. We both enjoyed a cocktail and shared a delicious slice of pie. The food was enjoyable, as usual, and our server was outstanding. However, I was let down by the potatoes—they tasted like frozen home fries from Friendly's and were pretty bland. Additionally, I was surprised to find out about the charge for using a credit card, as it wasn’t mentioned to us beforehand.
This is an amazing place for a weekend brunch! The only drawback is that there’s no parking lot, so you'll have to look for street parking. Also, the outdoor seating is on a raised platform, which made it difficult for my husband, who has a disability. That said, the menu is diverse and truly delicious. I tried the lobster omelet, and the amount of lobster was very generous! It’s also a fantastic spot for weekend sangria or mimosas served in mason jars that look like wine glasses. Overall, I highly recommend it!
The atmosphere is fantastic, complemented by delicious food and wonderful company. Our server, Julia, was outstanding! She had an incredible ability to remember our orders. The food was superb, and the artwork was stunning. It's no surprise that this place is a local favorite! However, we did find it a bit bothersome when they rushed to clear our plates while we were still enjoying our meals.
