I recently met a girlfriend at this little family restaurant in Eigth Avenue. It was a delight, I grabbed a mango Lassi while I waited for my buddy to rock up. Actually I accidentally walked into the little Indian Sweets kitchen part of the...business next door at first and then realised I was supposed to be next door. But got to check out the delicious array of traditional Indian sweets they have and got chatting to the guy there who told me this is the only place in WA that makes their sweets on site. Many other places import from India he advised. They are making fresh sweets daily, and I took a small collection home and they were fantastic just like my travels in India. maybe even better...

we had lunch after dressed) in the punjab sweet curry house and here are our comments: 1- saffron basmati pulao: we have no saffron taste in the rice, so we found it like turmeric rice, flavor and. it was very dry. rate :1 of 5 2-samosa: very average. price : 2.5 out of 5 3 Tandoori chickens: slightly seasoned, not aromatic and very dry. cooked and served all over the place to hack into the smaller pieces, so that marinat could penetrate the meat. Rate: 2 out of 5. 4-Dhal makhani: was ok, not too heavy and creamy. for my palette she needed more taste. price: 2.5 out of 5 5 ldli sambar: was traditionally cooked and its taste was balanced, but not the best idli we tried other places. price: 3...

This restaurant is now called Punjab Sweets and Curry House. Don't judge the book by its cover. We have order food from this restaurant quite a few times and the quality of their food is exceptionally good. They serve the best Butter Chicken, Dal Makhani...and Rogan Josh in town.
