Mayo's Halfway House

Oh Mayos. This used to be THE spot. Like your local Cheers bar that also welcomed newcomers. Food was average at best for the last 5 years but that was never an issue. Went for the atmosphere and the staff and service. Fast forward to this current year what a mess. Staff changes has completely changed the clientele and has made this a very unwelcoming place. As a woman I used to feel more than comfortable coming here alone now definitely borderline unsafe. It seems if you aren’t a man with a motorcycle you are no longer welcome. Hopefully they’ll do a brand revamp and completely change their staff. There’s no reason for staff to be intoxicated on their shift and fighting with their customers...

We have been patrons of this bar for years, and it has been our go-to local place. However, with recent staff changes, it has changed. There have been times the front door gets locked in efforts to force patrons to use their new patio/outdoor bar. This is a safety issue since the front door is an emergency exit. Our most recent experience ended with my wife being escorted out after the bartender got angry with her. My wife doesn't fight so there was no need for the escort. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

This was my go to bar for years but this last few months it has changed. The food the bartenders have gone downhill. The owner doesn't seem to care about what his bartenders do as long as they make him money. Bartender came at me the other night I was the one escorted out. Always thought of it as a good dive bar but not anymore. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

This is a fantastic restaurant overall. The price per person ranges from $30 to $50. The food quality is rated 4 out of 5, the service is outstanding with a 5 out of 5 rating, and the atmosphere is pleasant at 4 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the Buffalo Wings! Réservez une table maintenant

This is the best dive bar in the Piney area! Price per person is around $20–30. The food, service, and atmosphere all rate a solid 3 out of 5. I recommend trying the Buffalo Wings, the Pork Roll Egg and Fried Onion Sandwich, and the Bacon Cheeseburger.

Dive bar on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere....I can see why you would skip over this place but if you want to wet your whistle sit down have a couple not to bad of a place to do so
