This is a small place, that on first glance isn 't the best looking eatery (more like a cafe) but the food definitely makes it worth a visit. They have a vast menu with many choices, all at reasonable prices but the real treat is the 'menu del día. ' You get three courses and a drink for 8.90€. All generous portions too. It 's all real, authentic Spanish food, with a home made feel and you can see how popular the place is when it 's always full of locals. A mix of people who work nearby and some who come out of their way to eat there. An unexpected and pleasant surprise. Really worth a visit.
A small restaurant that’s not an obvious to go to but it’s well worth a visit. All local, fresh food that is real home cooked Spanish meals. You can order from the main menus but I recommend the menu del día which does indeed change daily. There’s a good selection to choose from and you get three courses all for a unbelievable 8.90€. It’s used by locals so don’t expect any English speakers but I urge you to look past the language barrier and get a real taste of Andalucía.

I've been in Maypa twice and both times I ate so good that I've wanted to order everything from the menu. Croquetas and brochetas are the most recommended. Typical plate of Spanish coucine, salmorejo, is very good as well. The prices for the quality of the food are very good.
