May's Thai Restaurant

It’s a fairly down to earth restaurant in effectively a strip mall, dishing up good food fast. Since we’re chilling out on holidays, we elected to dine in, based on reviews here on TripAdvisor; we were not led astray! A slow cooked massaman curry hit the spot for winter; crispy lemon chicken was a delight, and even though the red duck curry did not contain lychees (hey, that’s just a nice touch! it was delicious and I wish had more stomach space! And great value to boot!!

This local Thai restaurant does such excellent takeaway, we decided to dine in on a Friday night. It was quick, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Very large portions of rice, so you won’t leave hungry. We ordered satay vegetables, and Penang fishy curry, with coconut rice as the accompaniment. All brilliant. Note, it’s BYO, with a very small corkage charge. Lovely, friendly staff!

I had a fantastic evening out with my friends at this restaurant. The food was excellent, with a wide variety of options and fast service. I have dined here a few times now and have never been disappointed. The takeout service is also quick. The restaurant is small with a few tables outside.

The food at this restaurant was outstanding and served piping hot. The atmosphere is casual, making it a perfect choice for a Monday evening when few other options are available nearby. I highly recommend it and will definitely be returning.

Had lunch here a few times. $10 lunch specials. Food is fantastic, possibly the best Thai food in Brisbane. Service is excellent, meals arrive in quick time and staff are friendly.
