Mayura Thai is a fantastic local Thai restaurant. The food is great, the staff are great. We have never failed to have a great time here over numerous visits over the years. Last night we had pork spring rolls, battered prawns, mixed seafood basil, pad Thai with chicken and a chicken dish with a name I can’t recall. We finished with coconut ice cream. The highlight dish for me was the mixed seafood basil, although they were all terrific. As always, all the dishes were really good. A small but warm, friendly family restaurant that makes you feel like you're eating at home. Staff are very friendly and service is very efficient. <br/ <br/ We ordered a vegetarian Massaman curry and a pad Thai. As my friend is vegetarian it was great to see how accommodating they were to dietary requirements. Food was nice, wasn't anything special but was satisfying. The curry was sweet and thick, and pad thai isn't overly sweet like many other Thai places. Portions were good for price.<br/ <br/ Overall we had a pleasant dining experience at Mayura and I would definitely recommend to others.
Had a nice easy meal at this small restaurant by Springfield Rd. Simply decorated older interior with close and semi formal table setting which made it looked neat and smart. <br/ <br/ The food was well prepared, nicely presented and flavourful. Portion was okay. Always such a great place for a quick (or slow if you want) feed.<br/ <br/ The food is well above many others, and the service always, and I mean always, engaged, attentive and friendly.<br/ <br/ Although only small, and somewhat close quartered, the atmosphere is strange cosy and personal.<br/ <br/ The prices are reasonable, and the portions generous. Service is very friendly. Food is always warm and tasty. I just don’t feel there’s enough value in some of the meals. With mains costing $15-$17 and have hardly any meat in it. That’s a lot for a bowl of vegetables. Would like to see more chicken/beef in meals if possible as that’s the most expensive item within the meal and what I feel I’m paying for.
Lovely food! Slow service which was disappointing, but friendly. Had to call waiter after waiting about 15 mins and order not still taken. Not offered extra drinks throughout the night. Venue is small and tables are very close together. Not an issue for me, but would be for some people.
Nice quaint setting, friendly service. Food, we had pud bai gapoa, mixed seafood basil, gai yang. Desserts, banana dumpling with ice cream and taro with ice cream. All seasoned well with great flavour and well presented, great place to try. Réservez une table maintenant
