Would recommend eating in rather than take out. We order wings, thanksgiving sandwich and a sw burger for take out. We live right down the street and didn’t think it would be an issue for a quick pick up. The wings had a good flavor but were soggy, blue cheese was runny. I enjoyed the Thanksgiving sandwich, I expected it to be messy. It was. My partner however did not enjoy the burger, his bun was soggy and it wasn’t very flavorful or satisfying. McCloskey's Tavern never fails to deliver. The ambiance is very old-fashioned pub like with very up to date amenities. Plus, the food and the service are first rate. Been a patron since the 90s, and it's like an old friend. Keeps current without really changing. Highly recommended for a great meal!! Great lunch menu, really reasonable prices and lively atmosphere. Our server was a pro and super friendly! Kid-friendliness: Kids meal was only 7 dollars and had plenty of fries and chicken strips.
