As a former fan of McCormick Schmick, our last few visits have been quite disappointing.Lobster bisque: this was served to us lukewarm and with visible streaks of oil on the top of the soup. Previously it used to include small chunks of lobster, however, any that we received were minuscule during our most recent visit. The soup was also greatly over saltedLobster bisque mashed potatoes: we ordered the for the first time and much to our dismay it was merely lobster bisque poured over mashed potatoes and then microwaved. The soup was still far too salty and although there were more chunks of lobster, the film on the surface as a result of the soup overheating made the side altogether unappealingCrab cake sandwich: this was quite soggy and primarily just breading. As this dish was once our favorite dish with a crispy base and large pieces of crab, the contrast was extremely disappointing.Chocolate purse: the best part of the meal, however, still underwhelming. The presentation of a chocolate shell is impressive but the dessert is difficult to eat due to the thickness of the chocolate. Inside is chocolate mousse and whipped cream which pleasantly was not overly sweet when paired with the berries. The service was also quite lackluster during our visit. Our waitress was visibly impatient and bothered by our requests (such as a water refill when ordering dessert). The atmosphere remains unchanged but the decrease in quality of service and food, especially in consideration of the prices, makes us unlikely to return in the near future.
