While on my way to Lowe's, I decided to stop by this McDonald's. It was morning, and the drive-thru was packed, so I opted to go inside. However, once I got in and was ready to place my order, the manager informed me that the lobby was closed to customers. Fortunately, someone had left the door ajar, so I was still able to order. To my surprise, they prepared my food quickly, despite the busy drive-thru. I was genuinely amazed at how swiftly everything went. I left feeling satisfied, and my stomach was happy too—it was truly a unique experience. I highly recommend this location!
This McDonalds either chooses not to take my order in whichever line I am in (drive through) or has intermittent communications problems with the order kiosks. I still frequent this McDonalds because of it proximity to the Children's Hospital. I have foundI just drive through to the window to order and it's not a problem. The Big Macs are tasty and the sodas and sweet tea tastelike they are supposed to. Been going to this one whenever we are at the hospital over 15 years now. I'd score it higher but therepeated ordering frustration won't allow it.
I initially gave this McDonald's two stars, but after my latest visit, I've lowered it to one star. Two weeks ago, when I came back, I had to wait eight minutes on the intercom after being put on hold. Only then did they inform me they accept cash only, despite me already standing in line for about 15 minutes. It was extremely frustrating and ended up wasting my entire 30-minute lunch break.
It was a beautiful place to get what we wanted to eat next door to the children's hospital in Birmingham AL. Well organized. Awesome service and enough space for eating and relaxing. Not at all crowded the service was very fast and efficient. I've always enjoyed McDonald's. And that was dually amplified by the great attendants and their overwhelming need to give every customer satisfaction.

Wanted family friendly place to eat late in the evening and thought about the UAB area and this McDonald's was still open. The line was long but I didn't have to wait a long time to order, pay and get my meal. The young lady who took my order spokeclearly and was courteous and friendly.
We waited 30 minutes before we could place our order. The staff mentioned that there were only three people working, along with a new employee. Management was present, but their oversight was lacking. The lack of effective leadership led to this one-star experience.
McDonald's has undergone significant changes over the years. They are now open 24 hours a day and provide their employees with competitive wages. Additionally, they strive to introduce new menu items to attract a broader customer base.
The absolute worst. Open 24/7 but you will sit in the drive through for an hour to get anything you want. They take one person at a time, which holds up traffic on a major roadway. No concern for their job or anyone else

I tried the #1 combo with the Big Mac, and it was delicious. The sweet tea was just right, and the fries were nice and hot.
The service here was significantly quicker compared to other places.
