Waited 20 minutes for our order to be ready....I do appreciate that it was obviously made fresh however the customer service needs some work. Individual taking order was too busy watching other workers to pay attention to what we were saying had to be corrected twice before she got the first order right. The second order went a little smoother however did take a long time to be ready. Had to ask for cups to get drinks and once we had taken our meal and returned to our car realized no utensils were in bag for poutine. Returned into restaurant only to get attitude from clerk. I also do not feel staff should argue with each other in front of customers!
It's really a pity this burger is on for only one week, IT IS GOOOOOD!!!! While they got over zealous with the smoked sauce, a little too much on mine, it's a very good sandwich. The chicken was moist and tasty, I almost didn't like the breading, but it works well in the sandwich. On a fresh pretzel bun, yummy, lettuce, tomato and cheese. Hurry and get one, you will not be sorry. It's priced at 5.99. While getting this sandwich PICK UP THE NANAIMO SUNDAE for 1.99. All I can say is WOW. It's small so don't worry about your diet, it could handle this, small on size big on taste. Enjoy these 2 items while you can, time is ticking.
The food is always the same at McDonalds but this is a place where the local gather for coffee and conversation in the afternoon. I spent several hours chatting with people from Yorkton and I learned about the city and its history as well as what was going on. Really friendly people and a really enjoyable afternoon.
We go there frequently for a good lunch or coffee break. They do have the finest cappuchino and coffee in Yorkton, or in many places that we have visited.They have plenty of room inside and a large parking area.Good quality food and consistant, Macdonald's in general are good, but this one is worth a visit. Every once in awhile you get a craving for a Big Mac. This was one of those times & having a 2 Big Mac meals for $11.99 coupon didn't hurt either. The new order kiosks are interesting to say the least, but people will get used to it. And yes the Big Mac was the same as usual, average!!
