Placed a mobile order at 6:30pm from the curbside spot. Got notification at 6:39pm that my bank account was charged for the order. Proceeded to wait. 7:11pm, still no food, so I called. Asked the person who answered the phone about my order and wastold to let them go check on it and they?d get it to me. 7:30pm, still no food nor contact back. Went inside and had to waitbecause others were waiting and there was no sense of order or urgency by anyone to get things done. Finally spoke with amanager (who happened to be the one who answered the phone). I typically don't write reviews for fast food establishments, as the service is usually not great. However, I had to make an exception for the McDonald's in Sun City Center, FL. I was really impressed by the service I received from Zack when picking up my mobile order inside the store. As someone in a management role, I always emphasize the importance of a friendly smile, a positive attitude, and making sure our customers feel valued and taken care of. Zack truly embodies excellent customer service skills. I hope his management and corporate office recognize and appreciate reviews like this.
Even though it was 8:20 pm on a Tuesday evening, the staff efficiently accommodated my request for a Big Mac with no onions or cheese. The rest of our order was also correct, hot, and served in a timely manner. Despite not dining inside the restaurant and opting for the drive-thru instead, we found the service to be steady with other customers during the hour or so we spent in our vehicle. The only downside was the lack of trash cans outside, which forced us to mask up and risk going inside to dispose of our meal waste.
I wish I could give zero stars! This McDonalds has really gone down in the last couple of months. We just left, with fries that were so cold you could tell that they?ve been sitting for hours. The service is horrible, the staff are rude so we decided tojust keep going! You just lost a customer! And I will tell everyone I know not to go there! The service at this restaurant was terrible. It was a horrible place to eat with very poor service. The person taking my order was extremely rude and told me to get out of the line and leave, saying it wasn't her problem if she couldn't understand me. If I could give them zero stars, I would.
