It is unfortunate when a patron of an establishment drives a negative review. When we went to McDuffs it was to enjoy a burger and watch a football game. We arrived just after 6 and there was an individual who was already very drunk. That in itself would not be a problem except for his loud vulgar language. When you're at a bar it isnt expected that there be a lack of swearing, but this individual was profane. What made it worse is the staff seemed to be accepting of this language. It was so bad we had to leave before the football game even began. My wife and I were searching for a unique dinner spot when we discovered this restaurant and decided to give it a try. It’s located on a golf course, and we were fortunate to have beautiful weather that evening, so we dined on the spacious deck. The service was attentive, and the food was quite tasty. Overall, it was a lovely experience. Like many bars in Minnesota, they also offer pull tabs, so it's possible to take a chance and potentially win enough to cover your dinner and drinks! We definitely plan to return.
Looking for somewhere different to go for dinner my wife and me found this this place and stopped in,Let me add this: It is on a golf course,The weather was awesome that night so we sat out and enjoy dinner in the deck,lots of room on the deck,Service was good, the food was good.. it was a nice visit,of course like most bar's in Minnesota they sell pull tabs.So one can take a chance and win enough to pay for dinner and drinks!It is a place we will go back to.
Our server was fantastic! Unfortunately, I can’t recall her name, but we visited today around 2 PM. The food, however, was a different matter. We ordered the Au Jus sandwich to share, and we couldn’t even finish it because it had a terrible odor, reminiscent of a wet dog. It was quite off-putting. Additionally, we found it to be overpriced. The waitress was fantastic, and she frequently checked in on us, apologizing for the delays, which were not her fault. Unfortunately, it took a long time for our food to arrive after we ordered; the kitchen seemed quite slow, with our appetizers coming about five minutes before our main courses. However, the food was tasty. Despite the wait, we will definitely return.
