I recently discovered a hidden gem pub that serves simple, hearty meals that go against the advice of nutritionists and doctors. I tried the burger special, which came topped with cheese, bacon, gold BBQ sauce, salad, tomato puree, and Cole slaw - a combination that seemed confusing but turned out to be delicious. Despite the unconventional ingredients, it was a winner. The prices at this place are also a pleasant surprise, with steak tips priced below $30 and served in generous portions. The server was friendly and attentive, a rare find these days. The only downside was the frozen onion rings, but overall, I would definitely return to this pub.
I truly enjoy this pub! The food and drinks are amazing. Both the Guinness beef stew and the steak tips were exceptional. My Makers Mark old fashioned was expertly crafted. The pretzels with pub cheese appetizer were incredibly tasty. The service was warm and inviting, which contributed to a delightful evening. Thank you! I'm already looking forward to returning for more food and drinks.
My friend and I went for lunch yesterday and I really enjoyed it. I got the pastrami and Swiss and the pastrami was tasty and lean served on a soft fresh roll. The French fries were also good not the double fried kind.It's so nice to go to a traditional Irish pub with so many of the classic restaurants and pubs slowly fading away. I'll Definitely be coming back.
I had dinner there last night for the first time and will definitely be back. I had a slight issue with my meal and when I shared that with our waitress Barbie she took care of like a professional and I couldn't have been more pleased.. On top of that I got a great pour... I have always enjoyed McGuiggan's and was happy to introduce my friends to it. The food portions are substantial. The offerings are varied and I've never had a bad meal there. Friendly staff, happy conversations among the patrons add to the family feel ofthis little treasure.
I grew up in Whitman, I?m 30+ years in Connecticut. A lifelong friend told me I should try this place. I wasn?t disappointed. A burger is a burger, but a perfect burger is a ?. ?Perfect? burger. Great drink, appropriate service at the bar.. I?ll be back
I went to this restaurant with a few friends on Tuesday, and we had a great experience. Our server, who I think was named Alana, was amazing. Her vibrant orange hair really added to the overall memorable experience. #ShoutoutNanny

McGuiggan's Pub offers a great variety of classic pub dishes. The salad and French onion soup were both outstanding. The staff was friendly, and the lunch atmosphere was pleasant and inviting.
