Came to this cafe for breakfast with a group of 10 as it was a local from our Gym. We turned up and had to sort a table by ourselves. We eventually were given a table which was reserved, however the table was reserved for...more than 1.5hrs in advanced of when we arrived. We needed to go inside and get our own menu from the table because we were not greeted at all by anyone or given a menu at all. Upon ordering, the owner of the business yelled and abused one of my friends and told her that you bring all your gym people and don 't reserve a table which left her embarrassed at best. Considering it is a cafe and not a fancy restaurant at all, no reservation is really required for a coffee sure...
I visited this café one afternoon with my daughter. Upon entering, I was not greeted by the staff. Instead, I saw what appeared to be the manager sitting at a large round table in the middle of the store, who did not acknowledge me but instead signaled a barista to hand me a menu. I was confused about whether I should order at the counter or wait for someone to come take my order, as this was not made clear when I received the menu. When I finally went up to the counter to order, I had trouble finding the drinks fridge, which was hidden around the corner. There was also a drink trolley with water jugs and glasses, but it was unclear whether I would be charged for it as there was no sign indi...
only to give a second star, as the young girl at the theke was so nice to me and her service was great, only one daunt that the manager/owner (I think) was so rude to other employees. When I waited for my coffee, I could see that the man/owner was extremely frustrated/angry on a coworker (in preparation and order or something) and they were visually annoyed and distorted. I also work in a caffeine and no employee should feel terrified/incarcerated because of their boss, it was just so annoying to see me as an artist. I write this in the hope that the owner will see this to fix her disgusting behavior, as no one should work in such an environment.
This was my first time eating here. I had been here before for just coffee to go, but went with my sister in law for brunch for her bday. However, we forgot it was fathers day and it was quite busy. But the lady helped...us find a table, and we got to stay for brunch. OMG! The food looks amazing and tastes amazing!! Def will be back to have breakfast/brunch again!! It was so good!!! Everyone that worked there was really nice too. However, the only thing is that they NEVER not once to come to check on us to make sure our food was good, or needed anything. Nothing. I had a great breakfast and chai and enjoyed it so much I came back the following day and had the same. The caffe is bright and bright and they feel like outside, even when they sit inside. the breakfast menu is...delicious the eggs were perfect. the personal is friendly and accommodating, especially with my special chai tea request. the tables are well punched and qrcode for COVID-Safe check-in.
Our favorite place for Sunday coffee and breakfast. Been coming for more than 4 years and the food and coffee has been consistently worth coming back for. A couple of lunches have been v ordinary. Barista service is great, but management sometimes lacking. Very popular...with the Sunday cycling teams.
