Upon arrival I saw that there was a little waiting, so I went to the bar where open seating first served. Once I said downstairs the waitress Miranda came right past to greet me and gave me a menu. She answered all the questions I had about the new menu and certain new menu items. As soon as I placed my order, my food came out in time as I had requested. The food was absolutely amazing! Miranda came back regularly to check me to make sure I was fine. There is nothing like good food and good customer service. You can do everything here at McLean's restaurant! I look forward to coming back and tasting various articles on their menu.

I've always heard about this restaurant and I finally tried it and it didn't disappoint. My girlfriend and I came around 6 am soon as they open. The salmon cakes, eggs, home style potatoes, and and toast were so good. Our sever was great and knowledgeable of the menu. Definitely recommend!

Always have a good experience here. A perfect place for the working class. Down home southern food cooked and served by a talented staff. It is one of my favorite spots in Richmond, let alone the state of Virginia. McLeans' strength is their simplicity and their service.

This time I could finish everything and they were not dry. I chose Fritten instead of Homefries. Delicious! And the turkey bacon was good too.
