Mcmenamins Black Rabbit Restaurant Bar

We were here ten years ago and I don't think they have changed a thing since then. The food was good although a bit salty. We had the Duck and the Boar dishes. The general condition and ambiance were poor. The entire place needs some money spent and the place cleaned up. The clientele was dressed as if coming for lunch. T-shirts, sandals, shorts. This is family dining and not fine dining although the menu is fine dining worthy.

Our server was delightful and funny , loved her ! It was a bit loud , and I was not super excited about all the loud children there … Food was good but I do wish they would change up menu items . The portions are also smaller than what they were, especially the chicken dish ! Barely any meat on the thigh bones !

We understand that servers get busy and make mistakes. They forgot one of our entrées, and it did not come out till after everyone was done eating. The eggs Benedict had almost zero ham on it. This is the entree they forgot to prepare.

Quality food, fresh and delicious. Prices are very reasonable. The menu is diverse, lots of options to choose from.

Awesome place. Great stop for breakfast and a walk around the grounds!!
