Me-n-Ed's Pizza Parlor

We ordered their combo special. Lots of toppings. It was expensive $34. But we decided it would be a treat. Then we get it and its about .5lb-1lb lighter than most other large pizzas for $20. Ok. Then we open the box. It was light on cheese and most of the toppings were loose. Made a mess as we lifted the slices out. Then we tasted it. The crust was a mix of saltine cracker and uncooked dough. Almost soggy. We could hold it in one hand and it wouldnt bend. First bite and the bottom crunched, crumbled all over and tasted like a dry cracker but the top of the dough felt soggy and undercooked. 2 of us finished this large pizza and decided never to come back. Ordered 1/2 margarita, 1/2 pepperoni. The pizza was good and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. They offered to hold off on starting the order for a few minutes to give me time to run to the store to buy some additional items for dinner. The pizza itself was nothing spectacular but it was good: better than Dominoes but not as good as an artisan, wood-fired pie.

I'm all for cracker-crust pizzas and minimalist toppings, but Me n Eds charges as much as the higher end pizzerias that give you CRUST and CHEESE and TOPPINGS galore! Kinda one step up from frozen if you ask me. won't return.

While eating the pizza something crunched against my tooth after finding out it was a shard of glass I don’t think I’ll be eating a me n Ed’s pizza again.
