Here are the perks of this place: the design of this place is phenomenal. Every room and every sauna are held closely to the design concept. It 's literally beautiful and you will find lots of details to appreciate. We also really enjoyed the bistro upstairs where they served really delicous salads. The reason I 'm not giving it 5 stars is because of a couple things: 1) the outdoor pool and jacuzzi are not remotely as warm hot as they should be. 2) I don 't know about you, but after 20 minutes in a sauna, I don 't really need to visit another sauna. Coming from the USA, entering into the Mediterana, is kind of like a dream. It is located in a residential area outside of Koln, Germany. When you enter the co-ed locker rooms, you see very clean, upscale gym type club. It is co-ed, so seeing naked men, women, teens and children is common. Carrying a towel, you enter into Sauna paradise, indoor and outdoor pool, lounge chairs, bar and food area and more. It was interesting to see how friendly everyone was, people would chat in all areas, except for the saunas. We have been to several German saunas with themed attractions, but I would have to say this is the most elaborate I've seen to date. Especially loved one room in the Indian saunawelt with a large wading pool around a large fireplace. The attention to detail and ambiance is unbelievable! There is a wide range of rest areas, outdoor sunning lawns, and pools with varied temperatures (though they were all a bit tepid to my liking, with the exception of one. My German friend, however, thought all the pools were too warm! Had lunch at one of the cafes; food was great, service was attentive. Top marks on amenities, style, and an overall sense of calm!
Here you get a fresh menu, prepared directly in front of you. salate, a menu, aryurvedic dishes. but of course no pommes or currywurst. I have celebrated my birthday here and we have been kind and excellently hosted. also the choice of the wine was excellent. However, this also has its price. for a 4 hours admission card for the therme you can get additionally from 20 euro in the restaurant 1 hour stay.

Tried the spaghetti with gambas and the saltimbocca here. Food is good but the spaghetti had way too much oil in it and the bed of veggies under the (incidentally, excellent) saltimbocca were drowned in whatever sauce they were stir-fried in. Pity.The panna cotta dessert was nice but would have been nicer without the hardened layer on top (guess it had been standing in the fridge too long).
I have never been disappointed. delicious food and professional and nice staff.But at the moment the menu is even more resourceful than usual. I was thrilled and happy all around.I had foams from the black root with truffle, congratulated filet from the omle chevalier on risotto and caramelized goat cheese from cassissorbet - a dream.
