We came here with a party of four for dinner last night and three out of our of us were disappointed in the meals served. The only meal that was good was the Mussel Appetizer but even then some of the mussels were old and shouldn 't have been served. We started by ordering a full bottle of wine which the server never brought until after our meals were served as we had to remind her. It went downhill from there. The Penne Capricosa was served with enough marinara sauce to complete 4 entrees, with sauce going from brim to brim on the plate. Very overpowering but reasonable good flavor. We went for Mother's Day dinner and the restaurant was busy, as expected. The food was good, but I gave it 2 stars because of the service. It seemed like they only had one server working, which was a management error. Our server (whose name we're not sure of) admitted to making a mistake with our order and offered to correct it, but then made a rude comment about the kitchen not being busy when we questioned him. Another mistake was made with our order when the wrong dishes were brought to our table. This restaurant has been selected as having the best pizza for 4 years in a row. I decided to give it a try to see what the hype was all about. Unfortunately, I have to say that it did not live up to the expectations. I have had better pizza at little league games. If you want to try the best pizza, I would recommend going to Life is Pizza or Genoa's instead. Save yourself some time and try something else when you visit this restaurant. I am sure there are much better pizza experiences out there. I have to deduct a star just for the owner's response to my review. This may not be a place I would return to.
We absolutely adore Mediterraneo. The cuisine is always fresh and delightful. The owners are fantastic individuals. Their establishment has been a beloved staple in our community for many years. I particularly love the cozy atmosphere and the convenient parking lot at this location in town. It also makes it very convenient for carryout orders. I absolutely adore this restaurant. We celebrated our anniversary dinner there, as well as a few other meals. My favorite dish is definitely the crabcakes, they are packed with crab meat and hardly any filler! I also love the crab cream, bruschetta, and the generously sized garnel vesuvius. It was so big that I had to share it with my friends. This place is a must-visit!
I always have a fantastic time at this restaurant with delicious food! Dining in for dinner is always a great choice, with prices ranging from $10 to $20 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect 5-star rating. I highly recommend trying the Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo, Pepperoni Pizza, and Cheeseburger Sub.
