I ate here a couple of years ago and was eager to go back. This year I ate there four times, twice with a large group, twice with a couple of friends. The food was consistently outstanding, and the service was excellent, if a bit...slow--apparently because everything is cooked to order. They even prepared a small portion for me to taste when I mentioned that I was curious about how their spaghetti alla carbonara compared to mine (and it was delicious)! Arrived late after the opera, got a table outside. Very good aperol spritz and good house caprese salad. Ordered the vegetarian spaghetti which was very very nice indeed (i couldve eaten The staff were impeccable, there was a very slight mix up with our...order and the we must of had apologies plus free coffee, they were more upset than us as it was no big deal but it shows how much care they have and was very sweet. The desert was very good too. Highly recommend this place
The restaurant is close to the train station and easy to find on the main street from the station into town. One can sit both indoors our outdoors. We preferred to be inside were it was quiet and comfortable. The food we got for dinner...was the best we got on our five day tour.
