Wow!!! Just.... wow! The chef at Medley 's is a true artiste every food item delivered is an example of food as art .I had lunch here, expecting a standard hotel diner experience. Boy, was I surprised! The calamari was exquisite perfectly fresh, the dipping sauce nicely matched and a lovely balance of colours with peppers that made the presentation as good as the taste.Next up was my schnitzel. Super!!! Easily up to the standards of a German restaurant. (I asked the waitress about it it turns out, the chef recently immigrated from Germany, where he was a master chef. I have no doubt that, once he 's saved up some money, he 'll open a ultra high end restaurant rivalling the best in the city....
I have eaten here three times in the last few days since my family is staying at the hotel. The food has been very good and the service fantastic. The hotel offers a kids eat free coupon as well.The restaurant offers a very diverse range of food which is often a red flag. It's hard to do a lot of things well. I was pleasantly surprised though we have had things from most corners of their menu and almost everything has been great.The only reason I gave the food 4 out of 5 was the kids burgers on the first day were very overcooked but no complaints otherwise. We did get the kids burgers a second time and they were great which is why I give the overall 5 stars.
My husband and I had a wonderful time at Medley's. The place felt cozy and friendly as soon as we walked in. The service was really attentive, making us feel taken care of. We ordered salmon carpaccio and steak with prawns. The carpaccio was super tasty and delicate. The steak with prawns was the highlight though – it was cooked perfectly and had a great mix of flavors.The staff was also really nice and knew a lot about the menu. We left with happy hearts and full stomachs, excited to come back again. ?
Came here for lunch. Ordered Cobb salad and Butternut Squash ravioli. Both were absolutely fantastic! Chicken in salad was so tender and ravioli were cooked in savoury sage sauce topped with juicy shrimps. Lava cake was so delicious that we ordered one extra. Laura was serving our table and she was very attentive and friendly to us. Besides, there was lots of parking available as the restaurant located in Holiday Inn Hotel. I absolutely recommend Medley’s! Will definitely be coming back soon. Réservez une table maintenant
Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted warmly by the staff. During my 6-week stay in Vancouver, I struggled to find a place with both excellent food and service. However, at Medley's Italian Grill, I found just that and more. The owner is incredibly friendly and clearly takes pride in his restaurant. He took the time to personally come and chat with me, asking about my well-being. I highly recommend stopping by to enjoy a meal and experience the hospitality for yourself.
