Overall, I was quite disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I visited on a Saturday night and it was not very crowded. There were two fantastic singers performing live, but they were too loud, making it difficult to have a conversation while eating. The starters were good, although a bit pricey for only four prawns in sauce, and the bread was delicious. However, the main dishes were bland and served with dry packaged rice and a lackluster chopped salad. This was a stark contrast to the restaurant's earlier years when it first opened. Despite this, the staff were friendly and accommodating.
The whole experience was brilliant. We have the early bird menu which was £14.95 for two course. Wow! The mezze sharer was incredible, the dips were beautiful, and to top it off the bread was homemade. The mains were flavourful and presented beautifully. The house wine on the offer was £13.50 and was a lovely Pinot Grigio. Value for money, I really don't think you will find better in Lancaster! Shoutout to the FoH staff as well, professional, kind and courteous. Thank you guys!
This was the worst lunch I have ever had. The chicken dish with rice was so bland. No thought or effort went in to it AT ALL. absolutely no flavour. It took ages for our drinks to arrive whilst the girls at the bar chatted. My grandma ordered a dish that came with a cold egg, salad that was brown and drenched in hummus, this was presented very small and looked just thrown together. Very disappointed. No check backs on the table were made either. We will never return.
I went for lunch with a group of friends. Staff were helpful and friendly. Most of us chose from the two course lunch menu. Interesting food, well presented. Good value. Portion sizes appropriate for lunch. There is plenty of space downstairs and a well equipped disabled WC on the ground floor, which made it a good meeting place for our group, one in a wheelchair and several with mobility issues.

We've decided FIRST TIME to have a special meal in Medusa before going to the Grand Theatre to see Roy Chubby Brown. The service was good and attentive but everything fell down with the food. I should have known when I saw the starter. But the main wouldn't be much better. In fact ,my partner couldn't eat at all. What is the waste £65 !!!! :
We have walked past the restaurant for a long time and ignored it. We decided to visit and so glad we did. They have a good offer if you eat all day and early evenings. The staff where fabulous, the food even better. We had prawns and moussaka, What a pity there where not more customers.
We visited the restaurant for the early bird special, available before 7:30pm Monday to Thursday. The price was around £14 for a 2-course meal. We requested that our starters and mains be served together so we could share and enjoy them all at once.
We had a great time dining at Medusa restaurant. We both ordered sizzler main dishes that were absolutely delicious. We were pleasantly surprised when a wonderful female singer performed for us during our meal. The service was top-notch as well.
