Nous sommes tombés dans la rencontre de Gérard le samedi pour le brunch et nous n'avions pas à attendre longtemps pour une table. J'ai demandé une table à l'extérieur car nous avions le chien et j'ai eu de la chance de m'asseoir dans le charmant soleil d'automne. Le personnel était rapide à nettoyer la table et à prendre notre commande et nous n'avions pas à attendre longtemps pour notre café ou notre nourriture. Je commande le meilleur sandwich au poulet rôti avec de la farce, de l'aïoli et de la fusée qui était d'accord pour 10 $ mais un peu sec avec le ratio de poulet au pain. Nous avons également commandé les œufs de Cilbir avec sucuk, yaourt, menthe, aneth, toast et choux de Bruxelles d...
We popped into Meet Gerard on Saturday for brunch and didn't have to wait long for a table. I requested a table outside as we had the dog and were lucky to sit in the lovely autumn sun. The staff were quick to clean the table and take our order and we didn't have to wait long for our coffee or food. I order the best roast chicken sandwich with stuffing, aioli and rocket which was ok for $10 but a little dry with the bread to chicken ratio. We also ordered the Cilbir Eggs with Sucuk, yogurt, mint, dill, toast and Brussel sprouts which was delicious. The eggs yolks were runny, the Sucuk was spicy, the Brussels thinly sliced and was perfect with the herbs and yogurt dressing. It's a decent cafe...

Imagine devouring a scrumptious burger (you with me?) and as soon as you lick the plate the sullen waitress languidly removes your plate with complete disinterest for how your meal actually was. Off she skulks into the kitchen. "We really enjoyed that!" but no one hears our cries of appreciation. It's only when we pay the bill that the lovely work experience fellow says "how was everything?" Phew. We will return for the burger, but not the apathetic waitress. As you were.

Mon préféré du menu est le toast français qui continue de m'impressionner à chaque fois, mais honnêtement, tout est bon ici. Cela vaut la peine de sortir de votre chemin pour ce café.
Meet Gerard is my top cafe in Sydney. It's got a minimalist design which I love and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The barista is incredible, I have never had a bad coffee!
My favourite from the menu is the french toast which just continues to impress me each time, but honestly everything is good here. It is worth going out of your way for this cafe.
L'avocat écrasé était brisant !!! (Pardonnez la blague). Je suis très difficile avec mon café et le latte était sensationnel! fait ma matinée; Personnel rapide et amical qui allait au-delà pour m'adapter à moi.
The Smashed avocado was smashing!!! (Pardon the pun). Im very fussy with my coffee and the latte was sensational! made my morning; fast and friendly staff who went beyond to accommodate me.
