Meet on Main - Réserver une table

I really don't understand the hype of this place. I had a few non vegan natives boasting about meet on main so I thought wow it must be good and was so excited to try. I went first to meet in gastown and was not impressed, but came here as this was the place I had heard of and quite had the same kind of experience as the Gastown location. the drinks took so long until the food (the whole time) and from the four people in our party who ordered a drink came, nobody liked what they ordered. eating is really nothing special. a trip to vancouver is never completed unless I visit meet. I have often asked them to expand toronto because they would dominate the vegan scene there if they did. the cashew based dietary mac and cheese is amazing as their burger and incredible apps. only one complaining is that I am so full and sleepy afterwards. a true culpable pleasure they also have an incredible selection of drinks and desserts. they are usually quite busy (well earned) so they have to wait for a table during peak hours. trust the many 5 star reviews- this place is excellent

there are a few meets, but the main is the one we know the most. it has some great dishes, a decent cocktail list and a relaxed atmosphere. Whenever we are in the city, we end here and it's always beautiful.

they have all the feel-good, comfort foods i’ve missed: cheeses, meat, eggs etc BUT VEGAN the food tastes super similar and isn’t just a green salad or fries. Updated from previous review on 2022-05-31
