A cut above fish & chips at Unley's fish and chip prices. Start with an assortment of dips, don't enjoy too much of the flat bread or you may have to skip the next course. I enjoyed a chicken salad while my companions went with the kebabs (Lamb & chicken) served off the stick with vegetables and bread or rice. They are currently in the process of getting a liquor license so no BYO yet, we took the healthy option of tap water. Just on $20/head for our meal. The food was not as spicy as I would have liked but was a simple and hardy meal.
I had the Joojeh Kebab (chicken with saffron,lemon and herbs) this is a lovely dish, full of flavour and so tender! I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and so did my fiends. I chose rice and its the best rice I have had. We were so impressed with dinner we had dessert. Highly recommend the saffron ice-cream, chocolate ice-cream and Persian Love Cake! Staff are very friendly and attentive. wholesome,delicious food at its best. Looking forward to my next visit.
Our family was introduced to this restaurant by Adelaide-based Iranian friends who said the food is authentic Iranian/Persian. We all loved it (our 2teens included). Service friendly, food came quickly & was all so tasty. Particularly loved the chargrilled chicken & the traditional yogurt drink. Definitely coming again.
Just love this little place on Unley Road.Its clean,good wholesome tasty food, all served with a smile and a chat.If you haven't been do yourself a favour and try it out.BTW it's not licensed and doesn't do BYOBut if you can't enjoy a meal without alcohol for once then there's something wrong. I had an incredible experience dining at this Persian restaurant. The service was warm and welcoming, with the staff happy to offer recommendations on what to order. The food was unique and wonderfully delicious. Overall, it was a great dining experience that I would highly recommend.
