To start off, I must mention that the staff at this restaurant are incredibly kind, patient, and amazing. During our twelve-hour road trip from Phoenix, Arizona to Monterey, California, our toddler was feeling cranky after being in a car seat for most of the day. As we entered the restaurant, he had a full-blown meltdown. Despite our embarrassment, the staff handled the situation with humor, laughing when I referred to him as a "little monster." He eventually calmed down and the service was impressively fast, with appetizers and rolls coming out quickly even though the restaurant was busy. I did not enjoy the food at this restaurant. I only tried it because my usual sushi spot was closed for renovations and I wanted to see what all the hype was about. Unfortunately, none of us liked it. The food tasted like old, watered-down sushi and left a bad taste in my mouth. I even feel sick now and regret eating here. The sushi quality was not great, especially compared to what I am used to. The only redeeming factor was the ice cream, which was good. I hate spending a lot of money on food that I don't enjoy. I had a great experience at this restaurant. The sushi was delicious and the staff was attentive and helpful. Despite being located in a rough area of San Bernardino, the restaurant itself was decent. This was my first time dining here, and it has quickly become my second favorite sushi spot. I highly recommend it. The food gets a perfect 5 out of 5 rating.

The restaurant provided a pleasant dining experience. The food was tasty, with a variety of sushi options and four types of bento boxes to choose from. You can also choose between fresh or imitation crab. If you plan on dining there for dinner, it is recommended to arrive early as they stop taking orders around 8:15 or 8:30. Absolutely fantastic variety of items to choose from, their AYCE option is well worth it! Clean, easy to accomodate a large group, they have outdoor seating if desired! Great people, great place! Happy for there being another Sushi option in town!
