I had not been to Mela before, and what an absolute delight! This is the best Indian restaurant in and around Aylesbury by far! Its tucked away in Aston Clinton but absolutely worth the drive there there is a good amount of parking, and its free too! The restaurant when inside, is really nicely decorated, with a great water feature on the floor (check it out near reception). they took our coats and put them on a hanger which was nice too! Plus they knew my name and welcomed us all when we arrived which was really nice! The team are really lovely, friendly, and knowledgeable on their dishes. they have a vast menu and lots of it is customisable, which is great. They do mango lassi which is yum...
Have used this fabulous restaurant a few times and they never disappoint! The staff are friendly, polite and courteous and nothing is too much trouble. The food is delicious and certainly worth the little ride from Aylesbury to Aston Clinton. We actually live in Devon and always find the time to have a lovely meal here. They cater for any taste, whether a mild curry or spicy hot. Fantastic atmosphere and beautifully decorated for Christmas, will always come and eat here. Well done guys you certainly have the perfect business model!
On Wednesday 8th November 2023, six gentlemen dined at Mela restaurant in Aylesbury. Having visited multiple curry houses in the area over the past year, we can confidently say that Mela is among the top establishments. The service was fantastic, the food was excellent, and we were even treated to a complimentary drink at the end, all at a reasonable price. We highly recommend Mela and look forward to returning soon.
Another fantastic Indian meal! We tried the set menu for two and it was delicious. The flavors were lovely, the food was amazing, and the service was excellent as always. Well done to the Ash Team, this is the only place we go to for curry! We'll be back soon. Thank you, Erikka.

Delicious meal, such a lovely place to eat amazing food. Thanks Ash and the team. I had lamb pathia which had so much lovely flavour and Ash’s special starter was really special. We are very lucky to have such a brilliant restaurant in our village.
I had forgotten how delicious the food is at this restaurant. Last night, six of us dined here and everyone loved their meals. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Definitely worth a visit or getting takeaway.
Amazing, top quality service and always make you feel welcome. Having become quite a regular, I always get great customer service here and the food is always fantastic. Highly recommend.
Delightful Indian restaurant. The best Indian I have had for yonks. Very busy but service efficient. Food is wonderful. Staff on the ball and friendly with it. Great atmosphere.

This is by far the best Indian Restaurant I know. The food is consistently amazing and the atmosphere and service 1st Class. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
