jamie and the other waitress (sorry forget her name) were both very nice. they have checked as much as they could in a busy night. the type that brought drinks made some mistakes (the wrong drink bring some things to fall), but he was very sweet and had a great sense of humor, so everyone sitting outside feels comfortable. jamie went beyond and beyond to make my birthday for me and she also took my daughter. she even illuminates the candle so my daughter could blow her out and wish. our two waitresses have made great jobs when considering how busy the restaurant was on a Friday night. when we asked the menu, they answered knowledgeable and showed care and compassion for not only our table, b...

I have to start by asking why more people aren't talking about MeLange! The drinks were wonderful, but the food was on another level entirely. We kicked off our evening with the Crispy Duck spring rolls and the Mushroom strudel, and I have to say, the flavors and freshness of the ingredients were truly exceptional. For the main course, we had the Venison Osso Bucco and the Duck Brie Crepes. I was half-expecting a slight letdown after such amazing appetizers, but I was pleasantly surprised—the main courses were even better! We shared the charcuterie platter...it was outstanding in the quality of the selection and the selection itself. Two kinds of pate, both outstanding. And the bread! We had to wait a long time for our main course...and when it arrived it was luke warm. There was not enough staff and we felt our food was not served because they were taking care of new arrivals. Still, the food was tasty. We are planning on returning.

This was our first time at Melange and we really enjoyed the experience. Both the food, cocktails and service were very good. We will definitely be back, although likely would sit inside next time, as the only negative is that the patio is small and there is a constant parade of people walking by, loud music from a bar close by, etc. We will definitely be back. Wonderful staff, excellent service and food presentation was great. Food was delicious and fresh. The only reason I am not giving it five stars is that there was a musty odor upon entering the restaurant. We stayed and I didn’t have an issue after leaving the entrance area. Great menu and wonderful cocktail offerings. A very enjoyable experience.

Decent food, progressive interesting menu, weird ambiance (a tad too dark), but service was not there. They forgot our appetizers, entrees took too long, and while they apologized for these issues, there’s no escaping that the service errors ruined the meal. They were not crowded at all so there was no excuse.

I do not understand why this restaurant is not always overrun. eating here is excellent. it is imaginative and tasteful. I have worked my way through her menu and there is nothing I haven't restored.

The menu items are very creative and well prepared. There are several difficult to find and very good selections on the wine list.
