My wife and I traveled to the Avignon area in October, 2012. We ate at several restaurants in the area before dining at this quaint place. At the other restaurants, we found that while our meals were very good they were certainly not bargains. We stumbled across this restaurant one evening and were intrigued by it. We think it is located in what used to be the foyer of a small church. The only advertisement for it was located on a clapboard posted on the sidewalk. When we entered, we looked at the menu. Une cuisine simple, honnête et savoureuse préparée avec des ingrédients frais. Nous sommes tombés sur cet endroit après 14h (la plupart des endroits ferment pour le déjeuner à ce moment-là et réouvrent à 19h), et même si l'heure du déjeuner était passée, ils ont eu la gentillesse de nous servir et c'était étonnamment bon ! Ils ont aussi un adorable golden retriever qui ajoute à la convivialité du lieu. Je recommande vivement !
We ate here after visiting the local Thursday market. It was very convenient, as it was only a couple of minutes walk into the villiage from the market. It is an unusual location for a restaurant, as it is literally in the foyer of the local library, which itself is a recycled church. Both the food and the service were very good. We would definitly lunch here again.
Ce restaurant assez inhabituel basé dans la bibliothèque de la ville s'est avéré être un excellent endroit pour déjeuner. This restaurant is set in the town Library !. By day a tea shop and superb Patisserie by night an elegant restaurant run by 2 charming ladies. One can eat a quality meal in or outside at very reasonable prices . for me the best restaurant in Villeneuve les Avignon.
La nourriture ici, en particulier les desserts, est incroyable. Le personnel est vraiment gentil et leur terrasse est parfaite pour s'asseoir dehors, détendu avec une bonne tasse de café ou de chocolat chaud!
