I visited the restaurant on a Saturday around 10am. Please note that the parking lot is small, so make sure to give yourself extra time to find a parking spot. We were seated promptly inside and the service was excellent. Both the hostess and waitress were attentive to our needs. As for the food, I ordered the special crab cakes benedict and it was delicious. The hollandaise sauce was perfect and the eggs were poached just right. My wife had the classic chicken and waffles, which is always a good choice. If you're a fan of their gravy like we are, you can always order an extra side of it!
This place has been here for 20 years, though it was our first time. We do not live in the OC or I would say I will definitely be back. I will say that it is absolutely worth seeking out for a meal though! Food was good, pleasant atmosphere, and terrific, pleasant service. We were extremely happy.
My family and I love the food, the staff and the atmosphere. It's just the right blend of casual and special. The food is flavorful (and authentic) and the drinks are fun. We have become regulars and a week without going to Memphis is becoming rare. We look forward to the next visit.

Sometimes you just long a few chickens and waffles and memphis just makes the trick to help you with your desire! Really loved our breakfast and would highly recommend if you are in the Costa Mesa area :
First of all, love the vibe and their happy staffs! It has a little nice outdoor seating area at the back with lots of ceiling heaters. I thought our food tasted good but not memorable or amazing.
Everything was good. I had the catfish poboy meal with mash potatos and a salad, gumbo, and greens. Not the best gumbo I've had but it was filling. The poboy was good. I would visit again.

This was a fantastic place to meet up with old band members. The food and cocktails were outstanding, and we had an amazing time.
