Sorprendida de encontrar este local en ese entorno. Elegante, decoración tradicional vasca, muchos detalles dentro y fuera, imagen muy cuidada y agradable. Pedimos 2 nécoras a la plancha y chuletón. Hermosas nécoras con una salsa ajiperejil con un poquitodemasiado vino blanco o similar que al principio se me hizo extraño, pero el paladar se acostumbra y al final hasta me gustó. El chuletón muy muy bueno, mejor que el de las fotos que han puesto. Precio?, Es carito pero comes muy bien, y el lugar y la atención muy muy bien. Para ir de vez en cuando, desde luego. 2 nécoras, chuletón, 2 cervezas y un postre, 135€. Otro gran detalle, tiene parking propio
Yes this place is remote but I promise it is worth driving to it. It’s family run, very professional and they could easily compete with a 2 restaurant. The restaurant is decorated very Spanish, lots of locals come to eat here and if weather is good you have great seating on the terrace . The food was absolutely TOP! We have been found a 8 days gourmet trip thru the north of Spain and this place was even better then a few star restaurants we visited. Go and enjoy it
Like always Restaurant Mendiondo does not disappoint. Great variety of excellent appetizers and main courses all worth trying. We order “laminas de bacalao and anchoas con pimientos” our main course was fish all very fresh and prepare to perfection. The wine menu is very extensive and the owner/sommelier always give us the best advise on the wines to order with our food. I look forward to comeback to this restaurant every time I am near Bilbao.
