Mercagan Parrilla

We decided to eat here because everyone we asked for recommended restaurants mentioned Mercagan. The kids had hamburgers, and the adults had steak and chicken. The kids wanted to eat there every day we were in Bucaramanga. It is very hard to find a tasty hamburger in Colombia and these were delicious. The chicken was so moist and seasoned perfectly. The steak was grilled just right. The cooks really know what they're doing! Even the yucca chips, potatoes, patacones were excellent. (You think you can't get these wrong, but believe me, you can.)We decided to sit upstairs since it was a little dark and crowded downstairs. Good choice. Breezy and had space to move. The staff was very friendly, courteous and accommodating. I highly recommend this restaurant for a delicious meal with kids. Nothing fancy but really, really good food, friendly service at a great price.

I'll give them a higher rating because it was one of the few places open during a holiday, however the service was terribly slow, and the burgers were far from the greatest thing, as many promised would be. Overpriced for what it is.

If you really love meat here you can find a lot of options to choose, similarly there are other kind of meal if you don't like meat a lot. The place is nice, it has good decoration and you really can enjoy a good meal here.

This is a good place for eat lovers. Althoug they have to improve the salad options the meat offered is great. In case you like aji, picante, ask for "espuela" and be aware that it is really hot.

Get the house burger. One of the best burgers I have ever had. Sit on the second floor to get a nice view of San Pio Park.
