Merchants Fish - Réserver une table

On holiday in the area, we’d seen the food looked good here so decided to have a take-away tea. As we entered the chippy, people were stood front and back, so we enquired if they’d been served, and we were told “yes” so we stood in front of the till/order point. The young server was fulfilling orders so we waited to be served. After 5 minutes when he clearly wasn’t readying food we wondered what was happening as he just ignored us. After a few more minutes he came to the till right in front of us, shouted “who’s next?” to our bemusement. Had gluten free fish and chips today….. best fish and chips I’ve ever had only had to wait a couple of minutes for it to be cooked fresh…. amazing
