Merivale Noodle House

This Ottawa restaurant offers delicious traditional Vietnamese Pho that surpasses other Pho restaurants in Downtown Ottawa. I have been a regular customer at this restaurant for the past three years, and I am always impressed with the size and taste of their Pho. The service is good, not outstanding, but the staff is friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend trying this restaurant at least once or twice. You may find yourself loving Pho and enjoying it as an option for various cravings.

So delicious, filling, nice atmosphere, kind staffs. AMAZING portion for price. And Mostly impressed by how tasty it is!! They know what they are doing here. The BBQ shrimp and beef noodle bowl was a hit, that kind of food that just makes you close your eyes and savour it. The vegetarian noodle tofu soup is also delicious and comforting!Vegetarian options: Minimal choice, but the menu is delicious

I give them credit for including a soup with their rice dish, for which I've only known one other Vietnamese restaurant in Ottawa to have done this. No dressing on the salad though.Big portions, but what's the point when the quality wasn't there? The beef was tough and dry, and parts of the rice was mushy and other parts hard.The chern fun was fine, but pretty pricey at 10 bucks.

While I love the food here, and the ambiance as well,particularly for first dates, I find certain staff treating us a ruptly and rushing us, but not other people. We are a mixed race couple and I can only speculate, but I just found them oddly rude both times I've been here. It's too bad because the food is great and it's a clean venue. An excellent restaurant for lunch for those who like oriental cuisine.We visit this restaurant from time to time and each time we leave very, very satisfied.My kids usually order a medium or large portion of chicken noodle soup.The restaurant is also suitable for lunch with coworkers.

The Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine at this restaurant is fantastic. We particularly enjoyed the noodle soup as well as their pork and chicken rice dishes. We highly recommend trying both the fried and fresh spring rolls.

I ordered the dish 601, which was loaded with a variety of ingredients and came in a generous portion. I have visited this restaurant with friends many times before, but it is also a great experience to dine here alone.

The Pho ? here is top notch and you get two sizes to choose from. I usually get the large if I’m really hungry and 4 fresh chilli peppers ?️ Réservez une table maintenant

Ordered the large size Pho. Great portion, the soup tastes authentic, and full of beef! Will definitely revisit next time when in Ottawa.
