We spent a week in Guadalajara visiting some friends and taking day trips out to Cuenca, Torrremocha del Campo, Sequensa (sp) and Valdepena de la Sierra. Stayed at the Tryp Hotel, and had tapas a few times at Casa Redondo downtown. We knew we'd hit on a good restaurant when it was packed. Anyway, its rustic and relaxed with great service just like most Spanish neighborhood restaurants. Our friend frequented the place, so it seemed we might get priority for seating, but even though it felt like we were special, we had to wait our turn. No solo hemos comido de maravilla si no que hemos sido tratados con un cariño y una familiaridad dignos de mencionar. Camareros de 10 y detalle del hostelero fundador que se interesa, mesa por mesa, de la opinión de los comensales. Pocos establecimientos pueden hoy puntuar por este detalle. Un 10 con matrícula para este establecimiento!
Restaurant was busy. Did not seem to have time for outsiders. Someone eventually made time for us but it was rushed and not very thoughtful. Had few choices from the menu actually there was no meant just what could be warmed up in the microwave. The kitchen was closed. They did not seem to want to be bothered with us.
I’ve been taken to this busy restaurant by locals. Very friendly and cheerful atmosphere. Good choice of tasty and quality-like dishes. Reasonable choice in the wine list. Attentive and professional service. Affordable prices.

Comimos unas carrilleras que estaban muy buenas y también morcilla, la cual me pareció un poco escasa. El servicio bueno, ambiente también bueno. De precio normal.

Con mucha probabilidad el mejor restaurante de Guadalajara en comida casera. Amabilidad y trato de todo su equipo.
