I´ve lived in La Linea for around three years now, and none of us had been here before so we thought we would give it a shot. It´s a little off the beaten track but not to difficult to find. Traditional restaurant with good raw materials, very well cooked and great service. We ordered pilpil prawns (exceptional), chickpea stew with choco (delicious), garden tomato salad (finally a real tomato, thank you) with melva, baby squid (terrific), swordfish, very delicious too, and the somewhat dense croquettes. Every dish I had was better the the next starting with the potato salad and the bread that comes for free. The pulpo a la gallega was tender and spiced just right. The Salmorejo was out of this world. The Salmonetes were delicious. The Cojinas devine. I'd skip the tuna tartare. We had a breaded meat dish that was excellent. And even dessert was worth it. I can't wait to go back.
The food was delicious. The croquettes were amazing and I don’t usually eat oxtail so there is something to be said about that. The steak was also very good. The service was excellent. The prices seemed reasonable, I was satisfied with the portion for the price. Definitely a do again!
