my partner and I booked a table there on Sunday in early April. the dining room is small, with just 7 or 8 tables. from the menu, my partner asked for one of the salads (there were 3 types) and peased carrilleras, while I chose the beans of ibeas (a town of the area) with their compango and second rabo of peased cow. all the rations were generous and all were excellent in flavor. the salad was good and had quality ingredients; the beans were delicious, they were disposed of in the mouth of the tender that they were and of how well cooked they were; and the two meat stews, both the carrilleras and the rabo, were very rich, with two good sauces and at their point. Pedimos cocido montañés que nos lo sirvieron quemado, aunque dijeron que no. Lo que llaman chuleta desguasada, es una chuletita. Nuestra sorpresa máxima llegó en los postres. En todas partes suele ser postre o café. Pues aquí no, como a algunos no nos gustaron los postres que ofrecían, pedimos café que nos cobraron aparte. Como tampoco se puede pedir un plato fuera del menú, los niños que no podía comer un menú completo, solo pidieron el primero y nos lo cobraron como menú entero. Por tanto un plato de macarrones por 15 euros. El resto de la comida, pues pasable...Un bu...

Muy buena experiencia en este bar/restaurante. Tiene una terraza muy tranquila exterior, y todo el personal fue muy amable con nosotros. Al contrario que la otra opinión, nuestro menú fue muy variado, pudiendo elegir entre 5 primeros y 5 segundos, todos ellos de gran calidad. Los niños comieros medio menú (un buen plato de macarrones) y nos cobraroin 5€, no 15 como comenta la otra persona, e incluía el postre. Lo dicho, muy recomendable.

very good experience in this bar/restaurant. has a very quiet outdoor terrace, and all the staff was very friendly with us. contrary to the other opinion, our menu was very varied, being able to choose between 5 first and 5 seconds, all of high quality children comieros half menu (a good dish of macaroni) and we charge 5€, not 15 as the other person comments, and includes the dessert that said, highly recommended.
We had booked the entrance to the Atapuercas foundation at 15'30 and decided to have lunch near before we started and had the great luck to approach the hidalgo. all a success: menu of 14 € with very good value for money. cooked with a lot of love for the carmens, the cook and very well cared for by your child. Family food business with proposals for all drops. It was a pleasure.
Éramos un grupo de 3 familias alojados en una casa rural de la zona donde nos recomendaron este restaurante. Todo un acierto porque el trato fue excelente y la comida buenísima. Tanto nos gustó que repetimos los 2 días que duró nuestra estancia. Probad cualquier guiso que os recomiende Carmen, la cocinera, que no os equivocaréis. Gracias por todo.
En Burgos y a dos pasos de los yacimientos de Atapuerca, en el pueblo Olmos de Atapuerca nos encontramos con este bar-restaurante espectacular. Sencillo, acogedor, para todo el mundo. Una cocina exquisita, de la que hacen abuelas y madres. Recomendable sobre todo para los peregrinos del Camino de Santiago con presupuestos ajustados.

We were a group of 3 families staying in a rural house in the area where we were recommended this restaurant a great success because the deal was excellent and the very good food. so much we have to repeat the 2 days that lasted our stay. Try any stew you recommend carmen, the cook, you won't be wrong. Thank you for everything.
