Mestizo Fusion Cuisine

We were a party of two. We ordered two appetizers and two entrées which we normally don't do as we're an older couple and don't eat that much, but everything on the menu sounded so good. Well, we ate every bite of the appetizers and my husband almost licked his entrée plate clean. I ate half of my entrée which was still a lot for me and we ordered two entrées to go. The photo is their Filet Mignon with Gorgonzola sauce that was amazing ! Unfortunately, I tore into my Aji de Gallina before my husband could take a photo. We highly recommend this restaurant !!! We enjoy discovering hidden gems, and Mestizo is definitely one of them. As soon as we walked in, we knew we had made the right choice. Delbert welcomed us at the door and accommodated our request to be seated in the outdoor area. He was friendly, witty, and attentive. The cuisine at Mestizo is a delightful blend of Peruvian and Asian flavors, as well as Peruvian and Italian. The dishes are creative and delicious, with high-quality ingredients that enhance the dining experience. The owner even checked in on us to ensure everything was going well, which we appreciated. We can't wait to return to Mestizo.

This Peruvian restaurant is a delightful spot with a unique menu and incredibly friendly owners. Despite its small and cozy space, it is absolutely perfect! We had a fantastic dining experience at this hidden gem. The restaurant offers a variety of vegetarian options alongside their traditional dishes, which were all delicious. The portions were generous and the food tasted fresh. The owners, Pedro and his wife, were very hospitable and personally took care of serving us. I discovered this restaurant for the first time and it was a fantastic find! The food was delicious and the "passion mojito" drink was incredibly tasty. I can't wait to return! I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a 5 out of 5.
