Mestrias, Nova Tasca

I have eaten here twice in the last couple of weeks and have been very happy both times. I brought my husband here for lunch and even without a reservation we were seated immediately outside. We ordered drinks, mushrooms, half dose tomato soup each and pica pau. Everything was delivered at a good pace and was very hot. The pica pau was tender and the sauce needed to be licked up it was so good! I don’t agree with previous reviews about the wait staff. We live in Portugal but definitely look like the American expats we are. Service was very friendly and we were well looked after. When in the area would definitely go there again!

Brilliant local restaurant serving a short but delicious menu full of traditional Portuguese dishes. Staff are super friendly and professional and prices are good. Visited twice during our trip to Lisbon and both times were excellent.

Bom serviço e uma excelente localização num dia de sol ou noite quente (para a esplanada). O interior é também muito acolhedor. A comida é muito boa e bem confeccionada. Há muita atenção aos detalhes. Réservez une table maintenant

Lugar que vale a pena visitar, fica longe do centro da cidade, mas vale a pena, a comida é muito gostosa, o ambiente é bom e os garçons são muito atenciosos, para repetir sem dúvida

Serviço de extrema simpatia e comida de excelente qualidade. No meio de tanta qualidade fica difícil a escolha do menu. Esplanada simpática num ambiente descontraído

Eu estava doente antes de ir então não pude comer tanto quanto normalmente, bitoque muito gostoso mas a porção é bem pequena e não acompanha batata frita Réservez une table maintenant
