we have dined here at apex the last weekend and the food and service were exceptional. first of all from the look of the Kovid control they were great, everything was very organized and controlled and we felt very comfortable to eat here. our server eilidh was beautiful. so attentive and friendly and really cared for us. we ate from a set menu that was 2 courses for about £17 if I remember correctly. where should I start? starts with a phone call (2pm) asking if I still need my table for 2 around 7pm, not really how I booked a table of 3 and confirmed my booking confirmation 3 people. I am not a moaner of nature, always looking for the positive. the personal was great and welcoming, as well as the environment and the ambiente. Had an early supper here on a wet Saturday night. Partner had pork and I had the plaice which was exceptional. Both are served with no garnish or sauce which is a little off putting. However I picked out a risotto and broccoli as veg...which were excellently cooked and very tasty. And the chips were the best. Only thing is the architecture of the room is big and cold.
