I just wanted to share what a wonderful experience we all had at the Metuchen diner yesterday. We went for dinner, and immediately ordered coffee (which was EXCELLENT) Our waitress was Esther and she was a delight! Our food was exceptional for our first time here. We were at the Expo Center and googled diners in the area and found this one. I don't live around here, I'm from Bergen county, but if I did, I would be here all the time. Food was hot, fresh, and like I said exceptional! The atmosphere was nice, the place is spotless, and Esther took very good care of us. We didn't have to ask her for anything, she truly was at our service! She is an asset to your diner. Can't wait to come back ag...
Missing the soup. Did not follow directions on The sandwich. I asked for extra mayo on the side they gave me no mayo at all. The Turkey Club was good, otherwise. Banana pancakes were rubbery. I needed a knife to cut them. My dog wouldnt even eat them!
The Matzo ball soup and Stuffed Cabbage were both fantastic! The garden salad was fresh and tasty with homemade croutons and blue cheese dressing. We will definitely be returning to this diner. Two thumbs up!

I ordered the roast turkey dinner, a classic dish at this diner. The turkey was tender and moist, a great value for the price. The Oreo cake was also delicious, the perfect way to finish off the meal!
Service can be improved, should check on the customer every few minutes if they need anything.Check on every few minutes and will be good for the hungry customers, food was good. Thank you.
Bacon Sausage Link were tasty cooked well. Bowl of Pasta was overcooked. Tapioca Pudding was texture-less- no tapiocas just a serving of custard. 13. Twin Sandwich was ok.
I have ordered from this restaurant multiple times and have never been disappointed. They offer a wide variety of delicious dishes at affordable prices.

Quaint diner with hospitable service and delicious food. ? My only complaint is that the establishment is a bit small.
