Mezza Mediterranean Grille

During my layover at DTW, I decided to give Mezza a try for the first time. Even though I arrived close to closing time, my server was warm and friendly, and I was seated right away. I ordered the chicken shawarma and fries, along with a Coke. My meal arrived within ten minutes, and I was pleasantly surprised by the freshness of everything. While the dish was slightly bland, the pickles added a delightful zing. The creamy garlic sauce didn’t meet my expectations, possibly because it had been refrigerated and thickened up. A lovely little restaurant at Detroit airport. The service was excellent, the food presentation was appealing, and the taste was fantastic. The prices were reasonable for airport dining. My colleague and I enjoyed a delightful lunch there. This is definitely one of the better options for eating at the airport.

I had dinner here during a layover, and it was a pleasant experience. The food was tasty and reasonably priced for an airport restaurant. The beer was nice and cold, which was refreshing. The service was attentive, and I didn't have to wait long for my meal.

Customer service is okay, but not spectacular. Food is fine, clean, neat and organized, not so delicious, price is okay for an airport restaurant. The bar zart (Joan) is good at her job, but not necessarily friendly, which would have been nice. Réservez une table maintenant

Tasty food. Prompt, friendly, and thorough service. Reasonable prices. I was happy they have some healthier choices on the menu and allowed me to substitute a house salad for French fries.
