Mi Tierra - Réservation de table

Read reviews before I posted. First time here tonight and the server took a long time to take our order, my husband asked for a menu recommendation and the server stated “It’s your dinner just pick off the menu”. We moved past that. We asked for extra chips, he went around talking to other customers for 15 minutes. We had to ask another staff member to get chips finally. Then the server argued with my husband. We spoke to the owner and he stated, “sorry guys”. And offered zero ideas to try to make the situation better. Will not be returning. Service was a little slow but it was kinda busy with lunch rush. The place is nice and colorful very nice people and the manager was on top of everything. The only reason I gave a four star is because the queso tasted good but it was very watery and really thin, I ordered the chimichanga lunch special with beef. It was 4 out of 5 stars because the beef had more of a pot roast flavor and not an authentic Mexican seasoned flavor. Also I had a mojito and it tasted like a margarita with mint syrup. I was not a fan.

They had a candle on at the front of the restaurant it was a cheap candle from the dollar store) and it stunk up the whole restaurant up. I love this place. The staff are polite and fast. Their sweet tea is delicious. Good size portion for their cheese dip. I also recommend the Carne Asada Burrito. It's on the lunch and dinner menus.

Very good Mexican food. If you want something inexpensive and quick, this is the spot. If you want 5 star dining, go downtown.
