Can you say 'homemade? ' My wife and I came for lunch for the first time. We are from out of town, but have family in the area and wanted some good Mexican food. Well it wasn 't good... It was fantastic!!! From the queso to the homemade tortillas there 's nothing frozen coming out of there kitchen. Think the only thing they don 't make here are the soft drinks. Do yourself a favor and go. We already plan to come back tomorrow so we can try another dish.
No lunch options, service was extremely slow and food was NOT seasoned at all.. the world famous tamales are famous for what? Not for flavor ... dry dry. Salsa was cold tomato sauce.. no flavor or spices. Fajitas were barely enough for one person.. no Pico, no quac, and no cheese on plate and 3 meager flour tortillas.Overpriced and not worth a 2 hr wait for the food that was served.
This restaurant is the best Mexican restaurant in Central Louisiana! The food is amazing and the service is excellent. It has become a Sunday tradition for our family. We love that the owners come to our table to check on us. They are very involved and it shows in the quality of both the food and service. Definitely worth a visit!
The experience was awful. The manager spoke poorly of me and my family right in front of us, assuming we didn't understand Spanish. The other employees were pleasant, but the manager was rude and mean. I will make sure to request Pamela as my server next time, as she was very kind. Réservez une table maintenant
Great place to grab a bite with friends or family. Staff are very friendly and have never experienced a wait in order to be seated. Excellent food for the price. If you are looking for a casual bite to eat this is a great option.
The service at this restaurant was slow and the food selection was limited. The food was subpar and lacked authenticity. Additionally, charging $12 for heated nacho cheese was excessive.
We arrived at the restaurant and were informed that the kitchen was closing. Despite it only being 7:35 and with closing time at 8:00, we were turned away.
My favorite Mexican Restaurant in Alexandria area! Love the salsa and Tamales. And the best and freshest guacamole EVER!!! Definitely worth the drive. Réservez une table maintenant
