We were looking for a nearby restaurant that wouldn't break the bank but still had great reviews, and we stumbled upon this Vietnamese place. I called in for takeout and ordered the London Broil pho noodle soup. I appreciated that they kept the broth separate from the rice noodles and bean sprouts. The soup was delicious and not overly salty, but my only issue was that the beef was cooked a bit too much. It would be better if they didn’t let it sit in the soup, as it tends to dry out the texture of the meat. I don't know if this is under new management or new people in the kitchen, but our meal was the worst I've ever had there. We had a fried rice and a chicken with rice dish. The chicken was dry and rubbery. The rice tasted old like it had been cooked earlier in the day and it was all pretty tasteless. We got there just before they closed to pick up our to go order. I didn't feel like calling them or going back. We ate a little bit and threw the rest away.
This is not my kind of place. I don't think I like anything on the menu. That said, my wife and daughter love this place. I did not think it fair for me to give a one star review just because I don't like it. When the family gets food from there I get pizza next door. They might give it five stars so the rating is an average. If you like Vietnamese food worth a try.

This is a genuine hidden gem in Mount Pleasant! Their chicken pho helped me get through the winter and spring colds. Everyone I've recommended this place to has loved it! I also appreciate that it's family-owned and offers convenient takeout options.
Delicious fresh food!! Great staff, owners are awesome! The chicken fried rice is the best I've had and green papaya salad with beef is eyes roll to the back of your head yumm!
