For $15 a bowl, I was disappointed to see that there was only one type of meat, which seemed to be flank. There were no other options such as meatballs, tendon, or tripe, which I usually enjoy. I had high expectations due to the positive reviews and was really looking forward to some comforting food, especially since my overall food experiences in South Carolina had not been great. Additionally, a few vital condiments for pho, like chili garlic oil, were missing.

This place has the absolute BEST pho you'll find in the Charleston area. I CRAVE this pho, it's that good. The owner and staff are always so friendly, the service is quick, and the food is so, so delicious. This is a small, local business that definitely deserves a visit. It's a regular spot for me and my husband. Oh and make sure you try the spring rolls too; they're to die for!
Best Asian food in the country! We love their chicken pad Thai, lemon grass chicken and their coconut curry chicken stir fry. It’s great food and it’s healthy and we feel great after eating it. Always fresh and healthy! The owners and staff are great and so quick even though each meal is made to order. Our favorite place for take out we get it at least once a week.
Wonderful place! They are usually very busy but their receptionist is always extremely friendly and polite regardless of the amount of people asking her for help. The food is great, you can ask for more spice if you like your food hot and they ask you how you want it on a scale of 1-10! Overall wonderful choice!

My family and I all had the pho at Mi Xao, and it was incredible! The overall experience was fantastic, and the service was exceptional. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning soon!
very delicious pho! the beef ginger broth is very good and healing? i loved the tofu stirfry too. it was a perfect meal after eating very heavy food the rest of the day. the tom yum pho was also very good!
At Mi Xao, I tried the London Broil Pho, which was delicious and served promptly. The menu also features excellent jasmine tea, a southern sweet tea with a subtle floral flavor.
Have been here several times, the beef pho has been great. Excellent and friendly service. Not a lot of places to sit though. Will definitely be coming back.
