Excellent! Yesterday I went to Mia's with a group of friends, all of whom eat at restaurants once or more each week. We had a terrific time at Mia's. The food is just exceptional. We started with appetizers: the calamari drizzled with balsamic vinegar was done perfectly. Clams oreganato were very tasty and the house salad was cold, fresh and crispy. We then shared a plate of the linguini carbonaro. It was wonderful. The pasta cooked perfectly, the sauce was creamy and not too heavy. Just terrific. I then had the gnocchi Bolognese. The gnocchi cooked just right and the sauce was very well done. Just the right hint of tartness, and then portion was generous. The penne Siciliano was great paper...
We celebrated my mother's 80th birthday at this restaurant, and it was absolutely fantastic! The food exceeded our expectations. We had the entire dining room to ourselves, which made for a lovely atmosphere. We needed to guarantee a certain number of guests, but it was well worth it. One of the nice touches was the family-style appetizers served at all the tables. We were also allowed to bring our own wine, and they provided a bar area for us to set everything up for our guests. Walked in to an empty restaurant, but it was the night before Easter and this place MIA Modern was really getting ready for Easter Sunday. They are expecting a full house for Easter! So this Saturday night, although quiet the food was still quite good. Olive oil and Parmesan were on the table as we arrived, which I like and then the bread came. The bread was perfectly toasted and was great with their olive oil and Parmesan cheese. The menu was quite diverse with a decent selection of northern Italian. It was getting late, maybe why this review will be just average. This is a family place where you take grandma/grandpa,the kids and the grandkids plus a few cousins to dinner. Strictly Italian food here sans the pizza. It 's pizzaless. There is a shortage of waitstaff. I must be more patient, yet my friend was very. Food was decent. Butter was frozen and the Italian bread wasn 't real Italian. Veal Francese was decent, though small. The penne was toooo al dente . The lobster/crab ravioli were excellent. Felt rushed.

This was my first and last visit to the restaurant. I waited for 25 minutes and was completely ignored by the waitress. We never received any bread or water, and I even had to ask for the menu. A table of six that arrived after us was served bread and water right away. Ultimately, we decided to get up and leave.
The food was outstanding! I dined in for dinner, and the price per person was between $30 and $50. I would rate the food a 5 out of 5, the service a 4, and the atmosphere a 4 as well. I highly recommend trying the Broccoli Rabe and Sausage. There’s plenty of parking available, with a free parking lot option.
