Als erfahrene Izakaya Geniesser haben mein Partner und ich gestern zum ersten Mal einen Abend im Miake Izakaya Basel verbracht und wir sind begeistert! Die Atmosphäre ist sehr gediegen und gepflegt sie entspricht einem gehobenen, edleren Izakaya und weniger einem Pub. Die Einrichtung ist wirklich sehr geschmackvoll gehalten, und obwohl das Miake drei verschiedene Tischarten (Tatami, westlicher Esstisch, Bar anbietet, wirkt alles sehr gut aufeinander abgestimmt und harmonisch. Unsere zwei reservierten Plätze an der Bar waren grosszügig bemessen und sehr bequem. Das Miake Izakaya in Basel bietet eine authentische japanische Atmosphäre und eine interessante Auswahl an traditionellen Gerichten. Besonders lecker sind Sushi, Ramen und kleine japanische Spezialitäten. Die Qualität der Zutaten ist sehr gut, und der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Ein empfehlenswerter Ort für alle, die japanische Küche mögen.

Not had a chance to eat there yet but the number of vegan options and the fact you get to try something other than sushi from Japan sure make this worth a visit. The decor looks very authentic.
