A beautiful yet small quaint cafe with everything homemade. A good selection of foods available and all reasonably priced. At the very heart of this place are the owners, Mark and Denise, two of the nicest people I have ever been served by. They are very friendy, great with kids and always so happy and cheery. Nothing seems like to much trouble. I will definatly be returning. 5* from me.
Cozy café with a friendly atmosphere and excellent breakfast options. I had a full English breakfast and enjoyed the choice between black pudding or Cumberland sausage, both sourced from a quality butcher. The prices are reasonable, and I would definitely return when I'm in Kendal.
The staff is wonderful, the food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. The location is convenient, being close to the city center and the bridge. They also offer helpful recommendations for places to visit, making the overall experience quite charming.

Can't compliment this place enough. Staff are lovely. Cake excellent. Wish I'd called in before as it is nice to support a local cafe that is very good instead of the national outfits
Delicious breakfast/ lunch food, great coffee, and they let us keep our big bags in the corner for a few hours while we waited for our train!
Lovely freindly service and tastie home cooked food at an afordable price me and my son love to walk there and eat with our dog .
